creating an email list and sending email works great until the sheet containing the email list is locked.
Is there a way to lock the sheet containing the email list while the email utility is functioning as normal

Hello,
Yes, it's OK to send emails with the email list in the protected worksheet.
But you should checked the following options in the protected worksheets.
